What is a customs broker and what do they do?

Customs brokers are licensed by Maldives Customs Service to act as agents for all importers including commercial companies and private parties importing goods to the Maldives. Customs brokers classify the goods according to the current Import Tariff to apply duties owing to Maldives Customs Service.
